From Surviving to Serving:
Our Journey

A story of resilience, faith, and a commitment to help others rebuild their lives.

A Story of Courage and Purpose

rinity House of Change was born from the personal journey of Cherokee Hill, a mother of four who faced one of the most difficult decisions of her life: walking away from her home to escape domestic violence.

That choice led her into a season of deep uncertainty. While continuing to work and attend school, Cherokee and her children experienced periods of housing instability — at times relying on shelters, temporary spaces, and the kindness of others — yet she remained determined not to give up on her goals or her family’s future.

Through perseverance, faith, and steady progress, Cherokee began rebuilding. Step by step, she secured stability, completed her education, and in time created a safe place not only for her own family, but for others facing similar hardships.

What began as survival became a mission.

In 2017, Cherokee earned her Master’s in Social Work from USC, strengthening the professional foundation behind her calling. In 2023, she expanded that vision by launching hospice support services for the elderly — continuing her commitment to care for vulnerable individuals at every stage of life.

Today, Trinity House of Change stands as a place where hope is restored, lives are stabilized, and new beginnings take root.

Our Mission

Changing Lives One Person at a Time

We believe every person deserves a safe, stable place to begin again.
Our mission is to provide supportive housing, life-skills development, and compassionate care in an environment that feels structured, dignified, and truly supportive.

Our Vision

We envision a future where individuals recovering from trauma, homelessness, incarceration, or serious illness can find hope, stability, and purpose.

Trinity House of Change exists to help build that path — one step, one person, one restored life at a time.
